The first major challenge was an architect competition. Since we had drawn the pools already at the time of new 3D CAD technology, probably has the photomontage of the pool in an aerial view picture brought success . It was the first object, that has been completely designed in 3D and implemented under my guidance . Description
The aquapark "Saaleperle" had only add the attribute "experience". excluded the local master of pools, because who had his own daily experience in the former home to the adjacent sanitary facilities for outdoor and camping. The starting point was a concrete pool in a sink, whose excavation was bilaterally distributed around the pool as a Wall. Perhaps what others appeared to be a disadvantage , we have made to the benefit. Technology and new features have been integrated into the in the Wall and the rest as sun- and recreation area fashioned. So these areas have been opened for guests, and this forms a protection from the wind of the countryside.
In order to carry this philosophy through to the end, the underground spaces for pumps and containers were opened up via a tunnel. No stairs disturbs the image and represents a potential danger to children.
Pools
The pools are from the Zeller bäderbau GmbH built in stainless steel. The diving pool is built as a lining of a basement concrete. The cellar itself is part of the group of rooms and spaces for pumps, just without cover. This has kept the construction costs within limits. All other pools have been built in all water depths as a self-supporting structure. The walls are supported on the strip foundations. To optimize the cost the round wall elements have been reduced to the necessary minimum. The peculiarity of the system is the adventure channel. Water treatment plant
The water treatment plant is invisible. Because it is located in one place, which the visitors consider to be a sunbathing area. The great distance to the old filters was converted to a short path. There are traditional closed rapid filters used. The system is fully automatic and works with hydraulically driven flaps. The pumps are installed directly to the reservoirs in the center between the basins. This water treatment plant was at that time of the Water Anlagenbau GmbH from Plauen / Saxony built.
