Description and qualitative function:
- The living, active, effective Legionella be genetically "captured" and coupled to magnetic micro-bits. Legionella are separated by means of magnets, and rinses in several steps.
- By color tracer are made the bacteria visible.
- The number of Legionella bacteria is then detected and displayed spectral-photometrically.

Quantitative results:

Disadvantage:

Advantages:

- The speed of reaction to possible limit violations and the scope for action between official controls are considerably greater.

Hints:
- For each real measurement, a comparison measurement with a clean sample is always carried out. Therefore always be at least 2 sets consumed.
- The participation of the sampler in a training course in accordance with VDI 2047 or accreditation as a sampler for a laboratory is recommended but not required.
